I have a Tytera dmr sitting here with not much use.
I have a simplex Echolink -L set-up, but off ( already a couple in the area)
Would it be possible ( or permissible) to set up a vhf simplex echolink to a dmr radio/channel?

Or would the villagers come looking for me with pitchforks and fire?

    Matt

I tried that already with C4FM transceivers; we was just experimenting. It did work with good results, but FM is more practical on Echolink. Find a simplex frequency that no one use in your area and try it out.
This is ham radio, experiment and explore.:)
