WiresX (etc.) nodes that just appear on coordinated repeater frequencies

    Anyone having problems with new "nodes" popping up on top of coordinated repeater frequencies?

    We sure are in Northern Virginia.

    Yes and usually on our output frequencies making it a problem for nearby listeners.

    Not a repeater output, but someone around here put their node on 145.800 and left it running all weekend during a ISS SSTV event. Effectively made getting any of the ISS images impossible...

    Why???? Plenty of empty simplex freqs.
