Thanks for the demonstration Julian.
Great presentation !
I've been thinking about playing with it again to see if it's better now that winmor is going away. It is nice to send text messages to phones when you are out of cell coverage as I was on a grid activation last year.
Julian, yours is the first demo of Winlnk P2P I've seen (but I haven't dug real deep to be fair). As my comment on YouTube mentioned, this should have been minimum knowledge for the PR hurricane deployment. You've also demonstrated JS8Call as a means for "hands off" messaging. Love it. AX.25 and its variants (ie Robust Packet) can do P2P or really keyboard to keyboard as well. In time it makes sense to collect the big list of useable methods and modes as a "go bag" for grid down commo. Thank you and keep it coming.
Another great video, Julian. Well done. Thanks for taking the time to show this important capability. Happy New Year.
Many others should take a look at how you produce vids. Not one every three days but carefully thought out and presented with a boatload of info. Thanks Julian. I spend a lot of time working up your presentations, You got me into JS8 and this is next.
You should support his channel and buy a mug! Oh wait that's what you complain about with everyone else. Carry on.
Great video and I can't wait to use Winlink.
What is it when people assume? I support those who produce real content and don't support neer'do wells. But I'm not in love with celebrities.
