Ive been playing with WineBottler and have been pleasantly surprised that many ham radio related Windows programs can be turned into apps that will run on the Mac (using Wine). So far I've tried several ham radio programs for filters, Smith charts, yagi design, morse code, and antenna modeling (4nec2 and EZNEC). One yagi program wouldn't work, and the updater for EZNEC wouldn't work. So I'm still stuck with Windows on a VM for that. I haven't tried any really big programs yet, like Excel or something, but don't have much need for that with the built in Mac apps, and Libre Office. Has anyone else tried doing this, and what results have you had?
