I had my ic-7300 all set up for wsjt-x, working fine a couple of hours ago. Just turned it back on and the Silicon driver that I had downloaded and installed is no longer in device manager so i don't have the codec option in audio.

I tried to reinstall the driver but no luck...any ideas?

    Thanks, Bob

Turn on the radio with USB cable plugged in
    Go to Device Manger
Look down the list for PORTS
Right click any ports and select Properties
Open Ports in the list and select Let me pick the driver manually
Select the Silicon driver if it is listed

Let us know if this works

If it is Windows 10, You have to give the device permission. Did You do that ?

The silicon port was greyed out and said i needed to connect the device...that led me to realize i had plugged the USB cable into a hub rather than the computer so i moved the cable and everything came back to life...many thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

I've always said, USB is "punt and PRAY."
