Yesterday, saw a post that indicated ... MS 10 was not
going to support MS W10 ... after Spring of next year.

    Any truth to this ?

Win 7 support is good to 2020, so I don’t think so.

They are dropping support for some of the early versions of Windows 10 (anything older than two years old). Basically, you'll have to upgrade to the latest release. Support for Office 2007 is also being dropped.

I got suckered into a few Windows phones. Even wrote apps for them.

Windows phones do not even come close to a Android.

I hope MS does not mess up Android too.

I mentioned it on another thread some time ago, there is a project called ReactOS. It is an opensource OS that implements Windows NT APIs,
allowing to run Windows applications natively, without any emulation/compatibility layers. Would be nice if some heavy user of Windows-based
HAM software gave it a try, so we know what works and what doesn't, to have an extra alternative to Windows besides Linux.

That is fake news. They have no clue how many Win 7 machines that I have that are not on the internet.

    Same with XP.
