    Not sure which forum to use.

    If you are in the areas listed above and you have lost internet and phone service, the 146.700 repeater is currently being used for ARES. Tone 110.9, split -0.6

    The 7290 Net on 40m is in extended session some of the time; and there are people monitoring the frequency during the day when the net is not in session. The obvious limitations with 40m propagation apply so not sure this is a useful frequency after the band opens up for DX.

    Either of these is a good way to shout for help if you need it. I hope you don't. Things should start to improve in about 48 hours, so hang in there.

    How did your activation work out? Were hams helpful in this emergency. What are the lessons learned. How was your repeater powered?
