Got an Ic706MK2G with a blown predriver ic121. It is a Motorola MXR9745RT1. I have not been able to find a replacement but looking at the IC-7000. It appears to use almost the identical circuit but uses a Mitsibushi RD01MUS1 instead. Would the Mustibushi work as a substitute?

There are plenty of more technical hams who could give you a more educated answer, but as I look at the datasheets for the two transistors, it appears the the Mitsubishi part has a significantly lower maximum power rating (10W for the Motorola device vs. 1.4W for the Mitsubishi part). That might concern me.

Yea, I noticed that. The choices of available rf fet's in that package are kinda slim.
