I like your call. You are no doubt an avid CW op.
There does seem to be a line of thought from some that goes like this:
A newer radio has to be better than an older radio
An SDR radio has to be better than a non-SDR radio
A radio with a fancy touch screen and waterfall has to be better than one without.
Now, "better" is a totally subjective term, and if better to you means touchscreen, then this line of thought is correct for you. But if better means higher performance, ability to pull weak signals out, work in a high RF environment (Field Day, DXpedition, Special Event, ham operating a few blocks away, etc.) then there are some subjective measurements than can be used to compare.
Yes and why I hated the artifacts in the 891 on CW. I'd rather listen to a screaming baby
I moved and although I threw out 3/4 of my old radio stuff, I still have 20 boxes stacked in my radio shack corner. My interpretation of that rule is "it is easier to buy another one than to search for it in the boxes"
Aha, now we know why he asked the question in the first place.

A gold star for you . . . .
Why post a Wanted when there are so many For Sale?
Very tempting. Wonder if he will entertain separate offers for the box...
Funny. This same guy emailed me, too.
You would think he would change the name and call.
He must be on to something.
I got rid of the 7300, partly because whenever I brought the ladies into my shack, they paid more attention to the waterfall screen, than me.
