SDR is exploding onto the ham scene. From some of the most expensive rigs to super cheap dongles.

Maybe it's time to include them...

    Just suggesting.....

I agree. we DO need an SDR forum. Right now SDR is scattered around four or five different places, which causes threads to get missed.... from not knowning where to look for them.

Don't do much with SDR at the moment but it would be nice for those that might be interested to have all the available information in one forum. Good idea.

    I 'upvote' this as well.

ARRL published a book about SDRs, but it is terrible. Like many recent publications from our book-of-the-month club, it is incomplete, poorly edited, and incoherent in places. I can't recommend it.

I bet we'll get better info from a forum here.

To request a new forum you will need to open a support ticket.

I noticed that about another recent book from their printing presses. Very unfortunate trend. :(

+1 for an SDR forum.

    Excellent idea.

Then we will have a forum to argue about what a SDR is not.
