I realize it’s only the 6th, but that’s going to be one of the funniest things I hear all year.

Well, yeah. No one told them that it's not supposed to work. Especially at Superbowl power levels. :p

The first rule about propagation is that you don't talk about propagation.

Well, the boys in Boulder, CO, Scott McIntosh et al are doing a pretty good job forecasting and their model is doing better than predicted so far. Cycle 25 MAY be the best ever, or not. Try SolarHam.net
He has a pretty good handle on it. Stereo A and all the videos tell the story fairly well. What we need now is to replace Stereo B. Propagation is not an exact science, never will be.

The real fun in hamming is to call CQ and be surprised by who answers. Next door or 8000 miles away. A ragchew, a little DX (or a lot) some contesting. CW, SSB, Digital ( if you get a thrill out of your computer) or any
    of the many modes.
Ever work the Aurora? It is fascinating, a lot like 6 meters, here a moment then gone or a little longer. Most are familiar with the Grayline propagation, how about low pressure cell propagation? I tried working low pressure
cells, have to have a beam, and now in this HOA that is just in the past. Never made a contact that way but wish I had.

Who knows? You may be my next "surprise", I hope so.
