Are they just not any good? Manufacturing defects? What gives?
I much prefer bowling ball shaped gear. Good for at least two things.
On second thought, all the wonderful gear that is NOT advertised for sale
is the most desirable of all, well-loved and -maintained by its owners and
never, never to be sold.
If you don't see it in the classifieds, it's the best ever.
Maybe the world ran out of round things.

Squares are also rectangles where all sides are equal.
Just playing .
I would like to have a few Metronome shaped rigs.
I built a QRP MOPA CW rig on a round cakepan, but I will
never sell it!

I think you have to do that rectangle math to get the answer.
I dunno. Rectangular stuff is so last century.
