    Yes.

    But that's just me.

    If the TOS doesn't include it, then it's not a moderator function. If I were a moderator and it wasn't in the TOS, I wouldn't do it.

    All I'm doing is making a suggestion. Promoting an idea. It's not my site and I don't make the rules. But we WERE asked for input, and I gave it.

    Was that wrong? Should I not do that?

    I think you are right, If the overly aggressive troll is out of the picture things will settle down and stay that way.

    Look up the term, "Oppositional Conversational Style (OCS) " for additional information.

    Except for amateur radio and FCC related topics. Nearly all our regulatory matters, whether from the FCC or state/local agencies, and now including the FAA, have a tinge of politics. We should be fully free to discuss issues that could affect our frequency and licence privileges, and other matters pursuant to our freedom to set up and operate a ham station, on any relevant forum.
