    A good friend of mine was the co-inventor of the fatbike...first tested out in Alaska. I'm not quite dedicated enough to ride at 60 below, like some of these nicknorks, however.

    Fifty-odd years ago, we called those "tote-goats".
    Quite common in the Western Rockies at that time.

    Always wanted one as a kid. I did eventually find a 1964 Honda CT-90 in good shape - some 30 years later.

    My wife, father in law and I went for a walk in Wilmington, Vermont a couple of weeks ago and the trail goes along a river where the Rokon factory was located.
