    I hope that was a misspelling - 'Jap' is insulting to people of Japanese descent, and just like the airwaves, this website is viewed all over the world. WWII ended 65 years ago.

    If you're looking for U.S. made VHF/UHF gear, other than transverters for weak signal use, you aren't going to find much. I'm not aware of any FM rigs from Europe. Ten Tec used to offer a really nice FM rig as a kit.
    Hamtronics sells kits and subassemblies to build repeaters. Both the Elecraft K3 and Flex 5000 have 2 meter modules available that will do FM and Flex also offers 432.
