Favorite possum recipe?
Where is the UT when you need him?
Grilled on a drip pan with sweet taters.
I forgot all about Reaston. I see his last post was June 25, 2016.
I also wonder what happened to the guy from Vegas that banned Boafengs from his repeater. (I don't remember his call). I have not seen him on in a long time. Maybe a Boafeng owner took him out!!
Cookin' 'em is the easy part... gettin' 'em ready to cook is the hard part.
Clean em pretty much like Rabbit. Field dress em by squeezing their guts out through their.......
Personal favorite is the one that starts with skinning the possum and nailing it to a board, adding lard, spices, sweet taters, etc., then baking.
Ends with throw possum out and eat the board and taters.
BTW, didn't it used to be spelled Opossum?
That's the Irish species. Don't forget to put an apostrophe after the capital O.
Just don't let them get access to the whisky
At the old house on RadioTelegraph Hill, I would occasionally see a possum in the driveway when I came home late at night. First time was a real shocker.....then I realized what it was, and that it must live down by the creek in a nearby park.
I was amazed that evolution could produce anything so ugly.....but then I realized.....they don't look ugly to each other. In fact they probably look at us and think the very same thing.
