    Oops! I see that N4KZ has already mentioned the Designated Survivor episode. We don't get the program on the regular TV channels down here. So, I have to rely on the Mexican service of Netflix, which shows the programs with a 1 to 2 week delay.

    This is really sad, my guess is that he is either telling her I love you and miss you. Or he is saying that your husband passed away. I will se if my friend Kaz from Japan can post and tell us what they are saying.

    The Netflix show "Narcos" has a Kenwood TS-440 make a cameo in one scene, and there are plenty of old school HT, but I don't know enough about them during that era (late 80's, early 90's) to ID them.
