I know how you feel. I have a good laugh when I hear the whacker hype. Yeah, people are dropping like flies around the US because there's no cel coverage. It's a huge problem. I remember traveling the country without a radio before cel phones became popular. I never realized how much danger I was in! I'm amazed that we're all still alive!

We're still alive Paul without cell coverage thanks to ham radio. :)

There is a minor highway near here where you can drive for miles with zero coverage.

So guess where we happened upon a drunk driver a couple of weeks ago?

So were you able to report this suspected offender" junior fuzzbuster" style on your ham radio? Did you put on your yellow vest while waiting for the cops?

Good grief, you can start with my HOUSE. No AT&T FirstNet coverage here (I have FirstNet as part of my job). None at my Fire Station, not where my wife works (Teller County Sheriff's Office), none in MANY roads and towns in the back country of Colorado.

Come now, that can’t possibly be true. Cell coverage is everywhere! :rolleyes:o_O

Do the mobile carriers show coverage in those areas on their ridiculous marketing maps? I’m betting yes.
