I was "scolded" the other day for "chk auto seq". I was using auto seq. I wasn't getting decodes. That's the thing with this mode. Sometimes you see the sigs but just get no decode. No way to tell why.

At -15 I'd expect the QSB might be the player here, not the Auto Seq.

I also see that a lot, and not just from DX.

What makes a "complete" QSO is in the eye of the beholder. I log "run" QSOs when the other station sends "R" in one form or another. What the other guy does is up to him, but if he wants an LoTW or eQSL confirmation from me, he'll send an "R" message on the air. :)

Excessive time offset is the first thing to suspect. I have also seen two stations clobber each other with similar signal strengths, and it's tough to tell that there are two stations by just looking at the long-averaged waterfall.

In the example given he's showing 0.6 and 0.5. That shouldn't be a problem but I have seen some guys where their clock runs all over the place during a QSO.

This was considered a complete contact by YB8MAN. It's possible his "RR" was hidden by QRM.
