What's the difference between a bridge rectifier and a rheostat?

    Just googled "electronerd122" and "electronnerd122" (the second has doubled n) and someone with those handles has been posting questions about rheostats vs bridge rectifiers on various forums for several weeks now. Often with links to videos. The question was answered well on the other forums, but the answers were ignored.

    You’re referring to laziness, not trolling.

    Trolling refers to intentionally upsetting people or starting flame wars.

    I don’t think many people are going to participate in a flame war over these differences. Lol

    Did you perhaps mean to inquire what the difference is between a 'bridge resistance' and a 'rheostat ?
