Correct, get a real car. Getting in and out of it is a very real issue.
If you are going to do Route 66 you gotta do it right !!! HF on Route 66....."Life is Good".
WOW !! I'd have a hard time putting the antenna on that car but it's cool. No matter where you go, there is something special about driving a Corvette.
That particular car ran on water ... Goldwater.
I drove my son's vette once and it was all I required. I also drove a friend's Porsche 911 once and that was enough. Especially when the friend demonstrated the "proper" way to drive a Porsche after I drove it. I told him if that was the proper way to drive a Porsche then I don't really need one!
As a teenager I got to drive my dad's Impala SS and had the tires spin out in a rain storm once. I recovered well but thought anything so powerful to lose traction that easily was not really that much fun to drive. I have no need for speed. I like performance but not speed. Once HP exceeds tire/pavement performance it's wasted HP IMO.
It is all about finesse....having all that power but not having to demonstrate it.
NO....we are talking about the car NOT the radio.
Switch to Green Acres, then you'll want a Hoyt Clagwell tractor.
