    So what say ye?
    • SSB?
    • CW?
    • RTTY?
    • PSK31(-63)?
    • FT8?
    • Something else?
The reason I'm curious about other people's mode preference for FD 2019, is because I haven't yet decided what kind of station (if any) to set up for the event. But it could be an interesting discussion for all kinds of reasons.

SSB & CW on the Best Day in Amateur Radio. I just hope there is some propagation on the bands, making it truly enjoyable for everyone. :)

Yup, cw & ssb. I don't do computers in the field.

On the assumption something doesn't come up and ruin it.

    CW & SSB only here

    But very light operation - since it's not a contest, I don't "compete" :)

I have been running SSB every Field Day since 1968, but this year I might run FT-8. I am probably the most experienced FT8 user in the club and I have the complete setup (Laptop, Icom IC-756, Signalink). I am savy at making garden Variety and DXpedition QSOs , but never have tried the Field Day setup. So I will be sweating it out. Plus the logging will be adventurous.
