I'm looking forward to weather reports at the top of the hour on the regional net
Hmm....I was wondering why everyone seems to come here instead...
Well, I have not yet seen a QRZ Wires-X room or TalkGroup?
Speak for yourself.
Now, let me tell you all about my latest hip replacement surgery, or my excursion to the Jiffy Lube for an oil change.
I went to Valvoline Saturday and got Full Synthetic as recommended by the manufacture, plus had a $10 off bar code.
And on the next go-round I'll describe my problems digesting dairy products. Back to net.
I wish there was a Zed Wires- X room. We could all get on there and have ourselves a round table about all things we complain about in here..
There is the Pi-Star project and it's use in digital voice on ham radio (D-Start, YSF). I ran across that yesterday and it piqued my curiosity. I may build up an access point just because I can.
And if you have a server in the cloud , you can make your own YSF reflector/room. I created one in AWS and gave it to the local repeater owner to use regionally. Pi-Star is pretty kewl, not a good as OpenSpot3 but for most users will do all they need on a Pi of most any type.
Note that Hotspots cannot connect to Wires-X rooms, only YSF and FCS rooms as Yaesu owns the Wires-X network. However most all the Wires-X rooms that are popular have a "Bridge" to connect them, Like Alabama Link bridges all reflectors and modes into the one "Link"
I prefer 10:4 good buddy got a smokey on my tail, coming on through, ROGER.
