Found this object in my 8 year old bedroom. Looks vaguely ham radio related. Anyone figure out what it is? 15660188483072420216370390732088.jpg 15660188771864539864020043949616.jpg

Looks like someone stuffed a barrel connector into a random plastic plug/cap.

You mean " old's " as in your kid's bedroom?

    Ask the child?

    Or is this a quiz?

My question is: are you going to tell us eventually? Or will we be eternally in suspense?

I think your kid swiped a barrel connector and jammed it into that plastic thingy as others have alluded to.

It looks like a protection plug to me. You know, like those plastic things you jam into wall sockets when you're not using them to keep your kid from stabbing his shiv inside and getting a shock? Maybe it's meant to protect the coax plug.

The plug part looks like something that goes into what used to be called a cigarette lighter in the car, as a protection against said shiv.
