I've had dogs my whole life and it's interesting to see how varied their personalities
can be and how differently they react to other dogs, people, and situations.

Even dogs of the same breed will have totally different personalities from each other.

My brother and I each had a puppy from the same Border Collie litter. Although they looked nearly identical, my brother's dog, "Wilson", was about as hyper as a dog can get. Never still, barked a lot, could never get enough of catching a Frisbee or fetching a ball. My dog, "Chewie" was laid back, rarely barked, loved spending quiet time with us, would fetch/catch, but wasn't obsessed with it. People often commented on how well mannered he was. The two dogs grew up next to each other but rarely interacted/played together. You'd have thought they were different breeds or at least from different litters.

Sounds like my brother and I. Only not about dogs.

Come to think of it, the dogs were reflecting our personalities. My brother could have been a poster boy for OCD. Me? Meh. Laid back.

Started replacing all the power/wall receptacles in the house now that I've finished replacing all the switches in the house; as with the switches, none of the receptacles' screw terminals were tightened down fully with some having near-overlapping copper from adjacent screws. Charming.

Today, Spent a couple of hours trying to get a new Honeywell thermostat to work with a 20 year old Trane heat-pump system.

Should have been easier with a NOS Danfoss, maybe?

    Seems like an "interesting" adventure.

Hopefully you got it working reasonably well.
