Trapped, field dressed, skinned, quartered, boned, and ground up
the meat from a 260 pound Russian boar.

I saw a tiny spotted deer fawn curled up about six feet from me while its mother was away.
It was on a short hike early this morning in the foothills of a nearby county park, and approached a slash pile about 40 feet off the trail looking for a suitable walking stick. Suddenly I noticed the fawn motionless in the grass on the other side of the pile. Immediately I backed away and went back to the trail, not wanting to disturb it any further.
