Which OS you are using on your computer now ? does it work well ?
Much as I hate to admit it, Winders 10. I really stripped it down, however, so it runs pretty fast.
For the shack itself, I have Linux Slackware and a Winders 98 puter. The 98 is actually better at running hardware than later versions.
Win 10 across the board - shack, home, office, tablets - many devices - zero issues whatsoever
Another new member? I bet another new member will be along with some sage advice soon.
It's a cycle. Like a donut
At home: OSX 10.13, Windows 7, Android, iOS, DOS 5, BusyBox, and a couple of flavors of Linux.
At work: OSX 10.13, Windows 10, Lots of Linux, AIX, zOS, PowerLinux, Solaris, FreeBSD, and NOS/VE.
They each have their advantages and disadvantages, or else I wouldn't have so many. But when all other things are equal, I like directory paths with forward slashes.
Andy's Ham Radio Linux, Windows 7 Pro and FreeDOS. Those are my go-to OSes. I would list Mac OS as well, but I can't install past version 10.8.5, due to both hardware and software issues on the only compatible MacBook Pro I've got.
I am a Win 10 user, but i want to reinstall a new OS to replace it ,as it always reminds me to "upgrade the system" whenever I work on it,but i can't work now because the upgrade failed.
My computer is runing Win 10 home ,64 bit .
