Western Carolina (WCARS) Hamfest Saturday July 26

This event will take place on Saturday July 26. Gates open at 8 AM.
It's not a huge hamfest but a long-standing tradition in the area, and the vendors are always pleased to be here as we usually have a great turnout and give them a nice dinner the night before. If you are anywhere in the western NC area, Eastern TN, Southwest VA or upstate SC area, please don't miss this one, it's a lot of fun. We usually have a lot of offerings, high-profile and other vendors with both new & old gear, local hams offering boat anchors, new & vintage radio parts, tubes, test equipment, wattmeters, estate items and a good turnout of tailgaters in the covered barn, with food, prizes and extras. Better prices than EBay, guaranteed. VE testing will be offered as well. Come early for the best finds, bargains & "steals", but we plan to be open most of the day. This one really caters to hams and may have exactly what you want or need, including hard-to-find items.
The location is Waynesville NC (at the fairgrounds) about 20 miles west of Asheville. Splurge for the gas, you will be glad you came.
