    I hadn't talked with Larry in a while, knew he was down in Pearce. Used to talk with him a lot 30+ years ago when he was in Globe.

    In his later years, I don't think his health was good enough to let him enjoy radio too much.

    Larry Lee Mingus
    September 29, 1938 - May 7, 2018
    Larry Lee Mingus of Pearce/Sunsites died in Tucson on May 7, 2018 at the age of 79. He was born in Lansing, Michigan on September 29, 1938 to Allan Maurice Mingus and Florene Weaver Mingus.
    He served in the United States Army, and was a retired radio technician for the State of Arizona. One of his greatest hobbies was being a Ham Radio Operator.
    Survivors include his daughters Chrissann Mingus and Lisa Mingus both of Sunsites and his son Brian Mingus of Sunsites and his two grandchildren Britney Mingus and Darrel Yocom. Larry is also survived by his brothers Paul and Maurice , a sister Lynda Cross and his Aunt Marilyn Weaver.
    His wife Patricia preceding him in death on January 12, 2017, also preceding him in death were his parents.
    At his request no services will be held.
