    Fairfield, CA - Ronald Edwin Edmonson was born on February 1, 1945 to Fred G.W. and Doris DeAun (Stearman) Edmonson in Fairfield, California. He passed away March 29, 2021 at his Meeker home at the age of 76.

    Ron lived in Meeker since he was 2 years old. He attended Valley View Country School until 8th grade when he went to Meeker High School where he graduated with the class of 1963. Ron married Joyce Morphew on October 15, 1965 sharing the next 55 years together.

    Ron served in the Oklahoma National Guard for 6 years. He retired from Tinker Air Force Base in 2006 following 30 years of service.

    Ron is survived by his wife, Joyce Edmonson of the home; daughters, Rhonda and Darren Raines of Paden, Kerri and Troy Perkins of Meeker, Charity and Michael Rempel of Prague; 8 grandchildren, Hunter and Vonnie Raines of Meeker, Caselyn and Andrew Parks of Chelsea, Denali and Johnathan Houston of Muldrow, Destry Raines of Paden, Miley, Mariah, Ty, and Trace Rempel of Prague; 1 great-grandson, Eilam Raines and one more on the way, Weston Raines.

    A funeral will be held at 2:00 Friday, April 2, 2021 at the Lighthouse Holiness Church in Prague with interment following in the New Hope Cemetery in Meeker. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
