in my case, there was no special I/O connector provided.

Trying a couple of different OTG cables, I cannot get line-in mic audio to route to fldigi, and on the display side, I cannot get a PSK31 channel in the browser (if I have the window name correct) to show up in the Receive (main window). This all works fine on my laptop, but not on the tablet.

Did you disable the internal mic and point the input to the mic jack ?

    yes, done and done.

it's a head scratcher, but has something to do with that OTG interface.

But I figured even if I got that working, the fldigi interface is not usable without selected channels showing up in the receive window.

So, I stopped trying to fight it.

I would blame it on the Win 10 Tablet.

Sometimes it takes a real computer, And a laptop barely qualifies, But they work.

Maybe a fix will Surface soon. :D

I had the geeksquad do the install on my newest laptop, because it was
supposed to have win ten installed from the factory. It was printed on
the box........yea right. They had a corrupt disk they used and had to redo it.
I am on dial-up out here in the boonies, so an internets dsl update was out.
This was in July or August 2015. They stated there were some compatibility
issues BUT were supposed to be de-buged. After the RE-Install it has been
great.....just a couple of pennies here and there all add up to a dime!

that's good to know, I'm just about at the point to pull the trigger on a pi/screen/bluetooth keyboard as a "shack computer"
and wondered how much a single pi could handle? fldigi is a start.

what about the JT modes with WSJT ?
