I have come across a book on Amazon called "War Diaries: A Radio Amateur in Kyiv". For those of you who, like myself, are following the war in Ukraine, this would be an interesting insight into what life is like under Russian bombardments of Kyiv. I asked around and learned that the writer is US7IGN who moved to the Ukrainian capital from his native Donetsk back in 2014, when Russia occupied the eastern part of the country. He has a page on QRZ.com also. The book is available in Kindle and hardcopy. I'll be buying a copy, if nothing else, to support him and his family, in these difficult times. 73, Ed/NT2X
I picked up a copy also. Already up to #205,973 in Best Sellers list! Good job, US7IGN! I also recently took delivery of a 60dbm.com 50W amp for my Hermes Lite 2 from another Ukie ham. Excellent service, on time delivery, and a really nicely made amp, plus I'm happy to support efforts to get by in these challenging times. Gotta keep creativity and economy running!
Thank you all! I would greatly appreciate it if you could leave a review on Amazon. I hope other people will learn a little more about radio amateurs.
I ordered it in paperback. Maybe someday I will be able to meet the author in person so he can autograph my copy. 73!
