I have a need for a short rj45 male connector to a cable to an rj45 female. Here's the story. I have a Yaesu FT-891 with a detachable head. The extension cables I purchased from eBay have the male connectors too long to be able to put the head unit back on. Basically, it has to be short to fit into the cavity in the radio body. The link below shows the Yaesu mic with a short connector that came with the radio so you see the connector size factor I am looking for. Note too that the cable is not very thick either. https://www.gigaparts.com/yaesu-mh-31a8j.html I also have a headset adapter cable that also has a too long connector, so that didn't work with the head attached. Did that make sense? Ideas? Thoughts?

Final report: I had found and ordered some cables at Monoprice that I ordered along with a coupler - black cable and black coupler. https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=13089 and https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=7284 They work great. I plan on leaving the cable and coupler as seen below so I can easily change from headset to hand mic.
