    Martin J. Brunzlick, WA2JCP, SK

    MARTIN J. BRUNZLICK, age 78, of Matamoras, PA, passed away on September 11, 2018 at the Homestead Nursing Home in Newton, NJ.

    Martin James Brunzlick, son of Rollie and Lillian (Witte) Brunzlick was born August 26, 1940 in Augusta, WI. He graduated from high school in Mt. Lakes, NJ in 1958, and 4 years later graduated from Emory and Henry College in Emory, Virginia. For the next 6 years Martin served in the United States Air Force National Guard in the Military Airlift Command. After his honorable discharge he pursued his degree as an accountant supervisor for a newspaper and plastic company. Martin enjoyed his status as a Ham Radio General License operator Morse code for 30 years. He also enjoyed his church and spending time with the people he met there, as well as visiting family and friends in his corvette.

    Martin was preceded in death by his parents, Rollie and Lillian; stepmother Ruby Brunzlick; brothers, Daniel and Lyle Brunzlick; and sister-in-law Lorraine Brunzlick.

    A visitation will be held Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to noon at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta, where services will be held at noon at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date in the West Lawn Cemetery in Augusta.
