Donald Andrew Crisp 95, W7ZNN, peacefully entered eternal rest on March 17, 2026. He will be greatly missed. Don was born on March 14, 1931, in Greenacres, Washington to Vern and Iva Crisp. Upon graduating from Central Valley High School, he joined the US Naval Reserve, where he served for eight years. In 1950, he married Linda Vigue (deceased), and the couple had three children. Don received his Novice license in May of 1955 and his extra class not long after. He was fascinated with amateur radio, and making many friends at home and abroad. Don provided radio communications for various community events and was a Section Communication Manager at one time for the American Radio Relay League. He worked for a short period of time with project engineering at Hanford in Richland, Washington. After returning to Spokane, he began a 40-year career with Washington Water Power (Avista). In 1981 he married Andrea. They celebrated 45 years of marriage. He enjoyed deer hunting each fall and in later life watching them in his back fields. Don and Andrea made many road trips around the U.S. and later cruises. They visited all the continents in the world, often traveling with friends. Don is survived by his wife, Andrea and his children, Cindy , Jenna, and Don. He has 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
