    Milton Robert Knight, W7MZO/SK

He will be greatly missed by his friends and family, and lives on in the countless people he's blessed with his generosity. Its rare to find someone so generous, hard working and sincere as Bob. He was an avid ham spanning half a century, and was always serving wherever he could and doing whatever the situation called for. During the Great Alaska quake of 1964, the 1995 windstorm here in Seattle, the 2001 Nisqually Quake and other occasions he always put others first and was there to serve, to listen and to offer assitance in anyway possible. He dedicated his life to service of others and humanity, and has left an indelible bright spot in the hearts of all who knew him.

As his illness progressed he still possessed his mind and spirit. He would even check into our weekly local net all the way up to just before his passing. Dedicated to the people he loved and family who cared for him, to the very end.

We will miss you Bob, and you will live on forever in our hearts.

The Kirkland ARES group has dedicated an award in his honor, titled the "Milton Knight Lifetime Achievement Award" recognizing the countless hours, energy and support he has given to the City of Kirkland and its citizens.

If you knew Bob, please feel free to write about your memories on his Guestbook: http://www.legacy.com/SeattleTimes/GB/GuestbookView.aspx?PersonId=120503924
