Concerning "W6F" Route 66 OTA for Kingman, Az. Through the efforts of the Hualapai Amateur Radio Club and Kingman Amateur Radio CW Operators Club, the HARC club has won back the W6F call sign. So from now on HARC will host W6F. HARC and KARCWOC operated as W6V (Kingman proper) this year and had a great run for the event 3,322 contacts. A big thank you, to all you operators that made contact with the event stations. You made it another great annual event. 73
Just a point - 1x1 call signs are issued for 2 week periods. You may have "won it back" but you still don't own it. Nobody does.
