    For some time now W6EL's MiniProp program for propagation prediction has not been available. Propagation guru Tad Cook, K7VVV, reports that W6EL has just released a new, free version of his software--this time for Windows--called W6ELProp.


    It's available on the W6ELProp Web site. It works with all recent versions of Windows. W6ELProp predicts skywave propagation between any two locations on Earth on frequencies between 3 and 30 MHz. There is no charge for W6ELProp when it's used for non-commercial purposes.--thanks to Tad Cook, K7VVV
