    W4JO (Prayers for his Family)

    Today we lost a great friend James Olson W4JO
    He has been a Ham for most of his life
    A great man for all of his life
    A very sad day for all of us who where lucky enough in life to know him
    Say a prayer for his family

    OMG., what happened? He looks so young and active on his website. Very active hamradio operator too. He will be missed by a lot of people. My thoughts are with his family.,

    A true loss, AE7HF-Colin. Couldn't help but notice his son's name too. He will be greatly missed. So sad to see someone full of life leave us so early.

    Mr. James Edward Olson of Powder Springs, age 45, passed away Thursday, July 8, 2010. Memorial Celebration Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 10, 2010, at the West Metro Church of Christ in Hiram with Ricky Gray officiating. A native of St. Paul, MN, Mr. Olson had lived in the Cobb County area for the past 17 years, having previously resided in San Francisco, CA. He was a deacon of youth, and member of the West Metro Church of Christ. He was also Merit Badge Advancement Chairman for Boy Scout Troop 204 in Marietta. He was a member of the Southeast DX Association of Amateur Radio Operators, and held the call sign W4JO. He was a graduate of San Francisco State with a degree in communications. He was presently employed with the Bank of America in the Securities Division. Above all, the love of his life was his wife, Sharri, and he was a devoted father to his 3 children, Michael, Colin, and Jennifer. Survivors include sister, Kathleen North, Newnan, GA; 2 brothers, Robert Olson, Yuba City, CA, Scott Olson, El Dorado Hills, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Georgia Agape, 3094 Mercer University Drive, Suite 200, Atlanta, GA 30341 (www.georgiaagape.org) or to Trujillo Christian School, P.O.
