A good radio friend of mine will be 100 years old in August. He is still active on 40M CW and is still very sharp. His name is Woody and his call is W3TTW. Due to his achievement of making it with a very good quality of life, Martha and I are holding a special birthday picnic for all his radio friends. So far, we have about 3o people that will attend. I decided it would be nice to set up a station outside and kind of make it a special event station to celebrate his achievement. The picnic will be on August 2, 2016 and the picnic will start around 12 noon EDT. I would imagine we should be on the air from the outside picnic area station around 1PM or so. I put up a 40M dipole for the occasion and I am guessing we will be on 7.270 +/- QRM. We will be using Woody's call -W3TTW / 3. Out QTH is about 20 miles east of Lancaster, PA. So if you have 40M capability and the 40M band is good from your QTH to S.E. PA give a listen for us. I am sure Woody would like to chat with you.
