JAMES A GROOVER PASSED AWAY PEACEFULLY IN HIS SLEEP DOING WHAT HE LOVED TO DO. LISTENING TO AMATUER RADIO.

My name is Aaron Groover K3ALG. My father W3NTT passed away 6/10/2020 peacefully at home with a smile on his face. We were supposed to get a club repeater up and going last weekend. And I still got it done for him, I made that promise to him. The club call is KB3PMB.

My father was a Navy Veteran, EMT, Minister, and a amatuer radio nut.

He will be missed. Love ya dad.

My Dad passed in 2012. It is not easy to lose a parent.

 

I agree. I have to say the thing that made us closer is ham radio. And within a week I had a repeater, and a club started in memory of him. www.papsar.org

 

Your posting struck a chord with me.. lost both my parents in 2000...within 6 months of each other..never easy but time assuages.

Thank you sir. My wife says "ya know that movie where the guy gets on his dads old ham radio and finds out hes talking to his dad that passed away?" It's called frequency. Maybe that will happen.
