    March 10, 1938 - November 5, 2017

Sylva – Robert “Bob” E. Friedrich, Jr., passed away Sunday, November 5, 2017.

Bob was involved with corporate aircraft sales most of his life. He was part of the start-up group of Federal Express in 1971 and had his own companies throughout the years. He lived a full and productive life for 79 years and had many friends from all over the world and from all walks of life. He touched many lives and always had a joke to tell. People always said he was such a character. He will be missed by so many.

He enjoyed everything from skiing to motorcycling, boating, and flying airplanes, but most of all he loved his family, his dogs and the beautiful mountains of NC. Bob was an animal lover at heart and saved many hopeless and neglected dogs from the streets and brought them back to life. Please donate to your local Animal Shelter or Hospice in his honor.

Bob is survived by his wife of 55 years, Nancy Friedrich; daughter, Leila Schultz; son, Robert E. Friedrich and daughter-in-law, Heather Friedrich; granddaughters; Kelsey Schultz, Kayla Wintermute and husband, Blake Wintermute and great-grandson, Wells Wintermute, all of FL and his sister,Carol Morgan and husband, Lee of Tulsa, OK.

A Celebration of Bob's Life will be held at a later date.

Crawford / Ray Funeral Home and Cremation Service is honored to be caring for the Friedrich family.
