They must be blocked to the western US states, in particular to the pacific northwest region because they have really Crappy, weak, weak signals on all bands in the Pacific northwest even with my yagis on 20 and above their signals are still not workable.

They seem to be only working Europe and close in Asia with a few mid and eastern US stations but most that I have seen working them in North America are east coast of the US with very few west coast.

Now the two recent VK9 Dx peditions were strong in this region of North America.

Also they are not on at the correct times for the Pacific Northwest of the US for 15 to 10 meters.

They need to be on these bands up till 0300 UTC.

I regularly work HS0's and YB's and even 9N7AA along with JT1 on 15, 12 and 10 CW up until 0300 UTC but the VU4 seems to be off and concentrating on the lower bands during the peak times for 15 to 10 meters to the western US.

Long path which peaks right now to the Pacific northwest resulted in nothing today on any of the upper bands where club log shows them to be active and the Propagation plots show LP to be good but this still resulted in nothing heard from them.

I'm starting to think that their antennas are blocked to the northwestern US states if not most of North America.

Oh well it's gonna be a nice week to plan on a trout fishing trip over to central Oregon instead of wasting my time listening to static even if the fish are not biting.

My new ham radio MOTTO is "A Bad Week Fishing Beats Listening for Non Existing VU4AX Any Week"

Darn it, the Fishing trip was cancelled until the 20th so I have more time to test Short and long paths.

I guess that I'll have to wait until the A index drops under 10 and try again

Today I'm hearing a HS0 again on 10 CW on Short path and then I tried Long and short paths for VU4 on 28.091, 21.091 and 14.088 digi wigi and then 28.485 ssb and 18.077 CW both paths and still only crickets even though VOACAP shows that both Short and long paths are workable for me.
