Any word out on expectation of when?
no official information just.... take it easy and wait , they don't have a good internet connection ....
so, make insurance contacts.
They just posted that they found a satellite phone propagation path and plan to upload from the ship.
I have never been there, but I think at 60 degrees south with a big mass of rock north of you, your options are pretty limited
Yes, I think they realized they needed to move the satellite phone off shore using the ship.
Log is posted and I am IN for the ATNO! YAY! Good luck, everyone!
Got 'em on 40m cw tonight thru awful qrm making me uncertain of my call coming back. But they stuck with me thru my requested repeats.
I suspect the absence of log updates is why the piles don't seem to be thinning other than on FT8/RTTY. I'd say there are a lot of insurance contacts being made. I can't tell that piles have gotten smaller from the first day.
Another log update! #300 on SSB! All five of my QSOs on four bands are in there.
