Volcanoes on the Air | Mt Adams, Washington SOTA

I plan to go back to Nestor Peak in the Early Fall for a SOTA activation and back to a Forest road behind Whatum Lake I found a week ago. I may even try for a Lake on the Air at Takhlakh Lake next week. ;-)

 

Something also to consider atop Mauna Kea in Winter where sliders and Boogie Boarders have been injured by 'Pointy Stuff '.

Yeah! Get out there! Check out pnwSOTA.org for some recommended starting summits. FYI, a lot of SOTA activators in the PNW use 146.58. Often 146.52 is too busy with rag chewers. Sometimes it's hard to break in with 5w.
