After almost loosing my voice during MSWE I am looking into using Raspberry Pi as sort of Alexa voice preprocessor.
The idea is to let RPi process few key words as a trigger to output appropriate message , basically finishing what the operator started.
The "input" is easy, the software doable, my question is - how to connect RPi audio to the rig?
I have no experience in "matching" audio devices.

I can decipher my Yaesu mike input - electret microphone , but that is about all.

What else do I have to know? Where do I start?

Thanks to all who participated in MSWE, it was fun.

    Disaster waiting to happen.

The Alexa voice preprocessor will order pizza when you talk about lunch.
The audio out on the Pi is line level.

    Have Fun.
