Peter VK4BT has gone Silent Key today. He passed away at 3:20pm. He’s been in Intensive Care at Redcliffe Hospital for the past few weeks, and today with family by his side, his life support was removed. Peter was rushed to hospital a few weeks back and has been in ICU the entire time. His health has been a major concern for some weeks, and doctors were trying their best to bring Peter back from an induced coma followed by heavy sedation. Peter was very active on all the HF bands. What awfully sad news. A very welcome participant on the 20 metre ANZA Net. We will all miss his self labeled suffix “Big Trouble.” A real gentleman.

I was shocked to learn of Peter's passing. My thoughts are with his family. Rest in peace, my old friend.
