Sure, it's cheap and headless, but the Vero VR N7500 now it has a bluetooth KISS TNC! This is a single channel rig at 50 watts that lets you do APRS/AX25 via a new, experimental firmware that implements a KISS TNC over bluetooth. Tap on the firmware version in Device Settings in the "HT" app a bunch of times until it prompts you to download the beta firmware (0.7.14) Then pair the device with your android device (Sorry IOS, no BTLE here). Enable KISS in the Vero "HT" app in DeviceSettings-Signaling, then connect with APRSDroid, Bluetooth, KISS TNC, no channel number selected. Make sure you have an APRS channel selected in the HT app as well under APRS settings, it will auto switch to that channel.. or so it seems.

Keep in mind this is extreme grey-market stuff, so anything can happen. If you're like me, you may have noticed it's not as sensitive as your Yaesu APRS rig, but... It has a KISS TNC!!! :)
