A Holmes writes "I had the pleasure of upgrading today with the fine work of the VE's at South Portland Maine. These gentlemen deserve a round of applause for the fine session they ran. We were told to be on site at 08:45 for testing to begin at 09:00. As promised everyone gathered, papers were handed out and testing began. This is a far cry from my last experience with testing. I was turned away from a test at a FCC office because I was 5 minutes late. This is just one of the excuses I have had for many years. Finally I have upgraded and will now study to upgrade again. Thank you gentlemen for putting some spirit back into this old ham!"
