That's what HF-300s have been primarily used for since the 1950s. Good used ones are hard to find. 90% of the ones I have found were totally worthless, since they would have been pulled out of induction heating units only when they were well down in output, well past usability in a radio transmitter. One of my best ones has the date stamped on it, some time in 1939. That one was probably pulled out of radio equipment.

I have (7) 833A's for sale. One is a graphite plate Chinese version, and 6 that look to be Amperex
and stamped ARS. They look to be new and perhaps very little time on them if any. Judging by the
condition of the attempts of wiring the BTA-1M I rescued, it's pretty clear that all he may have managed
to do is light the candles. Fair market price and shipping included.
Currently at W7TFO to be checked. PM if interested.

As of yesterday's mail, I have NOT received the 4D32 tubes that I paid for several weeks ago. Sent an E-Mail about this and no response!

I am interested in your 833As but I have no idea how to do a PM. The 833A has a fragile filament. good packing of that tube is very important. I also don't know what fair market price is.
I don't need all of them but four would be nice.

I have been keeping my shirt on! However, after so long, it does get raunchy!

Amazon or not, you did promise that it would ship some time ago!

I'll have to recommend USPS two-day priority mail for shipping tubes. I recently purchased five n.o.s. HF-300s off ePay (with a money-back guarantee) and every one of them arrived intact. The guy packed them OK, but not as well as I would have. I'm sure FedUPS would have managed to destroy every one of them in transit.

I am quite good at packing anything for shipment and have never had a bad experience shipping with Fedex.
I have( 7 ) 833A's that test excellent that need a good home.
